Dear Maurice Sally and the rest of Gail's family. I am so sorry I cannot be with you on the 26th. Gail was someone I felt I knew well and had a bond with even though we were not close. Gail is a great loss not only to her family but to her wider community to which she gave so much. Gail and I were on a cancer journey together. I very much valued our conversations together over these recent months...I gained much support from her positivity and kindness. I say farewell to a wonderful remarkable woman.
